Lovely ride this morning along amazingly straight roads that disappear into point on the horizon. Strangely, long straight roads in England are boring but here they are wonderful
So here we are having a lovely coffee in a lovely bar in some village somewhere.

Well you wanted an adventure. I'm rather pleased that I didn't come and add to your problems, having to look after an old duffer would have been the last straw I think.
ReplyDeletePleased to hear (or not hear) things have settled down. Would have been nice to know what caused the problem. I'm impressed with you command of French but I did feel for you on that lonely dark road.
Tell Scott that it was a week before I could face the thought of jumping off the bottom step of our stairs.
You'll be pleased to know (well I was) 1000 miles and about 35 hours in the saddle I only needed to take 6 nurofen extra strengths. I'm quite amazed, especially as I had the apprentice performing the procedure!
